37. 예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니
38. 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요
39. 둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니
40. 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라

37. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38. This is the first and greatest commandment.
39. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

하나님께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘 백성들에게 주신 계명을 예수님이 다시 오셔서 우리에게 두 가지로 알려주셨습니다.
The commandments God gave the Israelites through Moses, Jesus came again and taught us as two.

우리의 마음과 목숨, 뜻을 다하여 하나님을 사랑하고 나를 사랑하는 것 같이 이웃을 사랑하라 하셨습니다.
Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.

이번주 설교에서 내 원수를 사랑하라는 말씀이 있었는데 마음처럼 쉽지 않은 것 같습니다.
This week's sermon touched on loving my enemies, and it doesn't seem as easy as it sounds in my heart.

십자가 사랑은 나를 위해서 희생하면서까지 사랑하신 것인데 내가 그리스도를 따라가겠다면서 내 삶이 변화된 것이 정말 있었을까요?
The love of the cross is a love that sacrificed for me — but if I say I'm following Christ, has my life really changed?

내가 낮아지고 겸손해져야 내가 미워했던 사람도 섬길 수 있고 내가 교만하고 높아지려 한다면 주를 위해 사는 것이 아니라 나를 위해 사는 것인데 잘 알고 있지만 실천하지 못하는 모습들이 생각나 마음이 어렵습니다.
Only when I become low and humble can I serve even the people I hated. If I try to be proud and exalt myself, then I'm not living for the Lord but for myself. I know this well, but thinking of how I fail to practice it makes my heart heavy.

하나님 앞에 예배하고 순종하다보면 나의 삶도 변화가 되겠죠? 하나님 나의 마음을 정결케 하시고 예수 그리스도의 가르침을 내 삶 가운데 새기게 해주세요.
If I keep worshiping and obeying before God, my life will change too, right? God, purify my heart and engrave the teachings of Jesus Christ into my life.
